This site was opened on July 6, 2003 as a subdomain of unfloopy.net and under the name Meaning of Life. When I got this domain, I thought it would be a great match for this little site, so... here we are.

Domain

The domain rough-draft.org was registered on March 15th, 2006, and has been online since then. I'm happily hosted at Dreamhost. I don't really remember how I came up with the name, but I do remember I've wanted this domain for the longest time. I just couldn't think what I would do with it. Then in 2006 I went into a domain buying spree and got a domain for each one of my main sites, and this was the only subdomain left on unfloopy.net. That started bugging me. Then, as I saw a .org domain sale, the lightbulb in my head finally went on and I decided to put two and two together. So I bought it and moved my quote archive over.
